New publication explains stainless steel flat products for building

European standard EN 10088 Part 4 describes stainless steel flat products for building and construction. As a harmonized standard, it needs to be taken into account for CE marking, which is a pre-requisite of the marketability of building products within the European Economic Area. The standard itself covers the technical delivery conditions without, however, providing practical information like main areas of application, advice on fabrication or availability. The Euro Inox publication Stainless Steel for Building - The Grades in EN 10088-4 Explained fills this gap and indicates where particular grades are typically used, what their relevant properties are and how common they are. The 28-page publication can be downloaded from http://www.euro-inox.org/pdf/build/EN10088-4_EN.pdf.
