New edition of MolyReview

The International Molybdenum Association (IMOA) has published the latest edition of MolyReview, which includes major articles on stainless steel applications. The increasing use of stainless steel for load-bearing applications in a range of challenging environments is the focus of one article. The development of the first US design guide for hot-rolled and welded stainless steel structural sections, published last year, is featured along with a case study on the UK’s first desalination plant. Another article looks at the role of stainless steel in the construction of the new headquarters of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Seattle, Washington. Stainless steel was selected for the innovative façade, featuring cladding tiles designed to look like fish scales, reflecting the building’s nautical theme and helping to win many awards. MolyReview is available to download for free from the IMOA website at www.imoa.info/media_centre/downloads/moly_review.php.
