Stainless steel takes centre stage at Chinese green building conference

The contribution that stainless steel makes to the development of green buildings was explored during a half-day session at the Twelfth International Conference on Green and Energy Efficient Buildings in Beijing last month. In a dedicated session organized by the China Stainless Cooperation Promotion Group, delegates heard leading engineering firms and industry experts speak about various aspects of stainless steel in sustainable construction, including presentations from Dr Gaetano Ronchi, IMOA Greater China Representative, and Dr Wei Fang from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in the US.
