Stainless steel as an Architectural Material

The ISSF is particularly proud to present the fifth edition of its Architectural Brochure. It is hard to believe that we have assembled sufficient examples to fill five Brochures dedicated to this continually growing market. A glimpse through our previous editions will show that the booklets have grown from 28 examples in 2015 to 61 in the current edition, and this is indicative of the ever growing attention which architects are giving to the strength, formability, corrosion resistance, sustainability and aesthetic properties of stainless steel.

Our Architectural Brochures series will reveal immediately how the architect, as artist, has used stainless steel creatively to design something which is more than a building, more than a sculpture or more than a structure. And the best thing is that whilst creating a thing of beauty, the designer is adding to the sustainability of our world, because the stainless steel he uses is capable of being 100% recycled when it comes to the end of its useful life, thus adding immeasurably to the value of life on earth.
